Caving

There are 3 categories of caves

1. Rope requiring caves: most of the caves fall in this category, knowledge and experience in rope techniques is required, in need we can provide equipment. These caves can be visited only by experienced tourists.

2. Horizontal caves: in these cave are no vertical walls, they can be visited with basic caving knowledge and equipment.

3. Equipped caves: although there are only a few of these caves, they don't need special equipment or knowledge, can be visited by tourist, too.

It is important to know that the average temperature is around 10ºC, the relative humidity around 90%. In certain caves we will have to climb over narrow, wet and muddy holes, through waterfalls, where the water temperature is around 5ºC, this is why sometimes neoprene clothing.
The caves can be accessed by train or car, completed by walking. In most cases we dedicate one day for one cave, but sometimes more short cave can be visited in one day.
Caving can be practiced throughout the year, in some caves during long-term rainfall is prohibited the access. The most ideal period is the frost period, because the water is at the most lowest level, but caves higher than 700m can be accessed difficult, due to the snow.
